Isn't the nest amazing

This heron liked to appear in the morning hours very close to the path

even at feeders on the Rio Grande

This wren was very friendly and comfortable seeking out insects and seeds on the ground in our RV yard

I believe this roadrunner must have had a ground nest close by the road because he lingered the entire time we were watching it from the car

Our hummingbird plants winter over well and make for lovely recurring perennial beds

I am often too shy to photograph people

and finally he cooperated
