In the 19th and 20th centuries, transient workers left cryptic symbols on fences, walls, and under bridges: warnings of danger, promises of opportunity. The collection combines these "hobo code" marks with ancient petroglyphs, runes, and meteorological symbolsa motif that interprets both mystery and archaeology.
