This is a strong high twist yarn with non dyeable Donegal neps, these resist the dye remaining prominent in the yarns. This particular yarn has a warm undertone due to the neps

The yarn takes the dye well and colours merge softly into each other when dyed

We used 5mm needle for this and it has a nice drape

A lovely soft yarn with a gentle sheen from the bamboo

25mm needle and got a fabric which was light and open with a lovely drape

This is a beautifully delicate laceweight

however the dyes can look absolutely wonderful on it

it speckles really well

and the fabric maintains its shape really well

and had a lovely drape

The twist makes it a perfect sock yarn giving the yarn robustness and spring

which is sometimes a preference for wedding or christening shawls
