The ice reminded me more of frozen vertical waves and the abstract and at the same time extremely ephemeral character of this landscape make the motifs especially appealing to me

made visible by the contrast between bright and dark areas within the ice

it creates tension in the crust

this series captures subtle surface patterns formed by wind

these icebergs appear almost disconnected from their origin—shaped by melting

Clear or transparent ice appears blue when the water freezes slowly without any impurities present
