Chateau Quinault L'Enclos Vintage 1997 GlasswareThis was the first vintage under the ownership of Alan Raynaud, who saved the estate from being built over. As indicated in the name there is one single vineyard, which is quite unusual for a Bordeaux property. Typical blend, Merlot, Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon. 75cl bottle. Abv 13% Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level in neck.

The Bodegas was formed as a partnership between Bordeaux producers and their Spanish counterparts

1982 was an excellent year for Bordeaux and this wine

There is a slight mark on the left hand side towards the bottom

This bottle was a wonderful surprise

but are best known for this traditional botrytis sweet wine

Robert Parker wrote of this wine "the 1962 has always been a fine Haut Brion"
