Chateau Bouscaut Vintage 2011 VINTAGE WINES 1997Classified as a Grand Cru Classe de Graves in 1959, for both its red and white wines. Bought by the L. Lurton in 1979 and managed by his daughter since 1992. A mixed vintage after difficult growing conditions, but some lovely wines were made. Typical blend Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec. 75cl bottle. Abv 13. 5% Bottle condition very good.

Domaine de la Vougeraie is an estate created through the amalgamation of several vineyard holdings acquired by the Boisset family in Burgundy's Côte d'Or

but one where the north faired better and produced some good wines

A dry wine with a deep ruby color

Chateau Leoville Las Cases is amongst the best wines in Bordeaux

With fruit sourced from contrasting terroirs in the Hunter Valley and Canberra District

and the flavours are great

An excellent Haut Medoc wine considered by many to be as good as some of the classed growth estates

red fruits and a hint of tertiary aromas

Amazingly the wine stayed in great shape the whole evening
