Traditional Brass Letterbox & Clapper Type_LatchAn extremely high quality traditional Victorian brass letterbox & clapper weighing in at over 1. 6kg (3. 5lbs). These front door letterplates are inspired by an original Victorian one but made slightly larger to take the larger letters we receive. The heavy casting is manufactured using a quality rich and warm coloured solid brass, which is unlacquered so it will quickly tarnish and antique down but easily polished back to shiny with a Brasso type

These are solid brass then nickel plated and reproduced from an original pair of period handles that probably dated to around 1900

this period knocker is reproduced from an original antique so it retains the original detailing and proportions and is quite heavy at 1
