We picked the Albarino twice over the course of harvest to gain greater complexity through blending. We ferment this wine in temperature controled stainless steel tanks to drive the aromatic profile and keep the wine fresh and light on its feet. At roughly 495 cases this is one of the larger production wines under Bodega de Edgar aimed at being avaliable through distribution. Vintage

It picks up a distinct salinity on the finish

with a long and elegantly spicy finish

and record-breaking temperatures

as well as hints of lightly polished oak and a myriad of pressed flowers

The estate also offers the "Diane by Jacques Lurton" cuvée

These soils are not suitable for Grenache (the principal grape of Vacqueyras) but the cooler microclimate allows Syrah and Merlot grapes to ripen well
