Tintilla de Rota 2024 Producer|Domaine DandelionA dark, brooding Spanish natural red wine made with the lesser known Tintilla, a grape native to the province of Cdiz. Expect ripe, brambly fruit with juicy red cherries and kirsch sitting against a background of Mediterranean herbs. Full and structured but not lacking balance with a welcome line of acidity keeping everything in check, a rare feat amongst wines grown in the scorching heat of Southern Spain. The vineyards here are part of a large 500ha
capsicum spice and strawberry liquorice
Such a generous natural wine and a great introduction to Judith's style
letting the vines pave the way in all his work
yet quietly overperforming and drinking well with just about anything you care to pair it with
A brand new cuvée from the young vines of Grenache Blanc that Meryl and Geraldine have been experimenting with for the last couple of years
For grapes to grow well here the vineyards need to take advantage of these steep South-facing slopes so that the grapes can be bathed in as much light as possible for the entire duration of the day
We also have a healthy dose of Muscat bringing up the rear
well-draining limestone gravel and just a small percentage of clay
‘Osarella’ is the name of the hamlet in the municipality of Orvieto where the vineyard is located
The fruit is harvested once it has shed those clichéd
slightly grippy
Made with grapes from two parcels
