These old Zinfandel vines struggle in the near desert like conditions; with rocky sandy soil that holds very little water. After nine decades, they have only grown to about 18 inches tall, and have just a few tiny fist sized clusters on

a smooth finish

then juicy and mouthwatering on the finish

but in this case it was already 2022 and 2021

and perfectly integrated wood

tangy and dry

The Corsa Bolgheri DOC is obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes

this Sancerre offers abundance of depth and is expertly balanced
